The Greek Philosophical Review is the scientific journal of the Greek Philosophical Society. It has been published constantly since 1984, initially three (3) times, very recently twice (2) a year, and constitutes the most ancient and important philosophical journal of Greece. It addresses all thinkers and researchers, whether they live in Greece or abroad.
It embraces all philosophical movements and tensions, and promotes works from philosophy, humanities and social sciences.
It is faithful to the principles of intellectual pluralism laid down in the Society’s Constitution, its purpose is to unify the philosophical forces in Greece and abroad. Its aspiration is to provide a forum for these forces. For forty-two (42) years the Greek Philosophical Review constitutes the genuine expression of the Greek philosophical thought.
Language of publications
The main language of the Greek Philosophical Review is Greek. However, the Journal also accepts important, original, scientific publications in English or French. The authors who wish to consider their article for publication in the Greek Philosophical Review in a language other than Greek may get in touch with the secretariat of the Society in the following electronic address:
